Visa Immigration Medicals

Be Work Fit Mackay is the leading immigration health examination provider for the Mackay and Whitsundays region after launching as a Bupa partner earlier this year.

Below is the information to make a Visa Medical Assessment booking for yourself, your family members or on behalf of others. To make a booking you need a HAP ID and your passport. If you do not have a HAP ID, you will need to contact your migration agent or the Department of Home Affairs to obtain this.

The fee for visa medical exams will be paid on the day of examination, and the fees list is located on the Bupa website.

Please familiarise yourself with the rescheduling and cancellation policy and review the Coronavirus customer updates on the Bupa website. If you have completed all required COVID-19 vaccinations, please bring a printed copy of your vaccination certificate with both dose dates or have a digital copy on your phone to be viewed.

How to make a booking

Visa Medical Assessments must be booked through the Bupa website.

BeWorkFit Mackay admin staff will then contact you to confirm your booking.

What to bring on the day:

• A valid passport
• Your HAP ID, including your "Health Examination List" letter, or the Referral letter provided by the Department of Home Affairs.
• Your prescription glasses or contact lenses if you have any
• Any existing specialist letter for any known medical conditions

Please allow up to 2 hours for your medical to be completed. All the details will be provided to you at your examination.
